Herbert
Ho
Mr.
Ho is an US lawyer specializing in international trade and
investments, dispute arbitration and government regulatory
work. He is now the chief counsel and director of government
affairs, Greater China Region, Amway Corporation.
Before
joining Amway, Mr. Ho worked as government official in the
State of Illinois, and later as a senior associate in a
national law firm based in Chicago.
Mr.
Ho is a member of the Board of Governors, and the Chairman
of the Retail Forum, the American Chamber of Commerce, China.
He is also a director of the Chinese Association of Enterprises
with Foreign Investments, and the Guangdong WTO Affairs
Consultation Service Center. In 2001, Mr. Ho severed as
the Committee Chairman, Govt. Outreach APEC/CEPI.
Mr.
Ho's writing include topics on direct selling and also laws
and regulations on US-China investments and trade.
Mr.
Ho got his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago and his
law degree from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago.
