Mak
Paul
Mak was born in 1958. He graduated from Illinois Institute
of Technology, Chicago, U.S.A. with a high hornor. Currently
posted as President of Mary Kay Hangzhou, operating all
regions of Greater China.
Paul
has a remarkable Engineering background, with many years
of experience in the field of Production & Technology
Management in SC Johnson Wax. In 1990, he was posted Group
Manager, Shanghai Johnson Ltd., assigned to co-ordinate
the first joint venture in production & engineering,
at the same time, providing technical support to the second
joint venture. Due to Paul's outstanding performance and
excellent leadership, he was promoted as Deputy Director
in 1992.
In 1994,
Paul achieved the Director of Operations, Shanghai Johnson
Ltd., managing a production site with over 430 employees,
contract manufacturing in five cities, central engineering,
Warehousing & Transportation, Planning, Purchasing and
Export Business to support a 80 million USD (net sales)
business in China.
In 1997,
Paul took on the position as General Plant Manager, Hangzhou
Mary Kay Cosmetics - the second production house establishment
of Mary Kay Inc., responsible for manufacturing and supplying
high quality products. The factory is now producing for
Asia Pacific region of Mary Kay Inc.
From
1998, Paul was assigned President of Greater China, responsible
for market development, operation and product chain of Mary
Kay Hangzhou.
