Rifana Erni Arjakusumah

Mrs. Rifana Erni Arjakusumah was born in Yogyakarta. She is married with two children.

In 1975, Mrs. Rifana completed a course in textile chemistry in the Institute of Textile Technology, Bandung. In 1991, she graduated from the University of Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA with a MBA degree in International Business Management.

Since 1979, Mrs. Rifana has been appointed by the Ministry of Industry and Trade Republic of Indonesia. Her responsibilities include Director General of Domestic Trade (2003 - present), Director General of International Trade (2001 - 2002), Deputy Director General of International Trade (2000 - 2001), Director of Business Development (Domestic Trade, 1996 - 1997) and Director of Chemical and Plastic Industry (1991 -1996).

In 1991 - 2002, she served as Negotiator in WTO, APEC and ASEAN Forum. In 1972 - 1979, she worked in Pt. Sakura Textile Mill.
