Yang
Qian is the Deputy Commissioner of Beijing Commerce Business
Cadres Institute, president and editor-in-chief of Successful
Marketing magazine, Head professor of Beijing Guan Ru Organizational
Studies Centre, a professional expert entitled to special
government subsidy, and a guest professor of the China Economic
and Trade Commission Training Centre.
Having
been in the field of strategic marketing since the early
90's, Yang Qian is a forerunner in the studies of direct
sales in China. His pioneering efforts include organizing
the first ever national direct sales seminar in China, bringing
out the country's first professional direct sales magazine,
and publishing China: Preparing for the Direct Sales Storm,
a book on direct sales. The Beijing Commerce Business Management
Cadres Institute's Marketing Research Centre, an organization
established by Yang Qian, has been leading the research
on direct sales in China. Mr.
Yang is well recognized for his outstanding academic attainments,
and was appointed deputy leader of the then Direct Sales
Group under the Chinese Ministry of Trade.
In this
capacity, Yang participated in the consultation and studies
for direct sales regulating. In recent years, Yang Qian's
has been focusing his consultation and studies on new marketing
methods, distribution channels and sales management. As
more and more businesses recognize the effectiveness of
new concepts like new marketing channels and database marketing,
Yang Qian's expertise is much sought after by business corporations.
He is currently providing advisory and training services
to corporate clients from various industries and sectors,
including retail, manufacturing, food products, pharmaceuticals
and cosmetics. Among his clients are famous international
and domestic companies like Da Qing Oil Fields, etc. Mr.
Yang is also marketing advisor to a number of companies.

In 2000, Yang Qian was named one of the "Top 21 Most
Influential Individuals in China's Strategic Planning Sector".
