Prof. Hai Wen, renowned economist, is a prominent scholar in China's direct selling industry. A full professor of Economics at the prestigious Peking University, he also holds various important positions in the University: Vice President, Dean of Shenzhen Graduate School of Business, and Director of the Research Center for Direct Selling. In addition to his executive responsibilities, he also serves as an advisor in the doctoral program of economics. His primary research fields include International Economics, and Economics of Development.

Previously, Prof. Hai lectured at various universities in the US before becoming tenured associate professor at Forte Lewis College, Colorado State University. He was a leading contributor to the studies of China's economy during his stay in the US where he served as president of the New York based Chinese Economist Society.

Prof. Hai had graduated from Peking University in China with a B.A. before receiving his M.A. and Ph.D in Economics from UC, Davis, USA.
