A twenty-six year employee of Mary Kay Inc., Michael Lunceford is responsible for worldwide government relations in over thirty countries where Mary Kay Inc. conducts business. He has been a civic leader in the Dallas, Texas area and active in both local and national politics for nearly 35 years. He serves as a political advisor to many elected officials, locally and nationally.

Michael serves as a member of the Hudson Institute, a Washington, D.C. based think tank, recognized around the world for its work. He serves on the Board of Visitors for the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School University Hospitals, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Dallas Breakfast Group, a local organization that seeks to find quality candidates for the Dallas City Council and the Dallas School Board. Michael also is a member of the St. Paul Hospital Foundation, the North Texas Committee for the Arts, and the Advocacy Committee for the YWCA of Dallas. He formerly was a member of the Congressional Award Foundation as an appointee of then U.S. Senator Bob Dole.

Michael serves as Manager and Trustee of the Mary Kay Foundation and is President of the Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation. The Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation, established in 1996 by Mary Kay Inc. founder Mary Kay Ash, has the twin mission of ending the epidemic of violence against women and eliminating cancers affecting women.

Through his work with Mary Kay Inc., Michael is active in the Direct Selling Association and Direct Selling Education Foundation (DSEF). He previously served as chairman of the DSA Government Relations Committee and currently serves as vice chair of the Board of the Direct Selling Education Foundation. Michael received the Foundation's highest recognition, the prestigious Circle of Honor Award, in 2004 for his years of service to DSEF. This award was previously awarded to Mary Kay Ash, founder of Mary Kay Inc.

Before joining Mary Kay Inc., Michael Lunceford worked at the North Texas Council of Governments, the City of DeSoto as assistant to the City Manager, the Mayor's Office of then Houston Mayor Fred Hofeniz and as assistant to Dallas County Commissioner Roy Orr. Michael also served as the first lobbyist for the Dallas County Commissioner's Court.
