Rich Hartvigsen serves as Vice President of Global Regulatory Affairs and General Counsel of International at Nu Skin Enterprises, Inc. Nu Skin Enterprises is a $1 billion direct selling company that markets premium quality personal care, nutrition, and technology products through a global network of 820,000 active independent distributors.
Previously, he served as General Counsel and Director of Legal Affairs for Nu Skin International, Inc. and has been with the company for nearly eighteen years. Before joining Nu Skin as corporate counsel, Rich spent four years in private legal practice in the areas of corporate and international business law.
In 1982, Mr. Hartvigsen received a Bachelor's Degree with academic honors in International Relations, Business and Chinese Language from Brigham Young University and a Juris Doctorate Degree from BYU's J. Reuben Clark Law School in 1985.
Rich is a former Chairman of the U.S. Direct Selling Association's Government Relations Council and the World Federation of Direct Selling Association's Global Task Force on Nutritional Supplements. He is immediate past Chairman of the USDSA's International Council, Chairman of the WFDSA's Government and Legal Committee and a member of the Operating Group of the WFDSA. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the USDSA and the Provo-Orem Chamber of Commerce and is the proud father of three children. |
