The HKDSA 43rd Anniversary Luncheon Concludes in Great Success

The Hong Kong Direct Selling Association (HKDSA) celebrated its 43rd anniversary and hosted an industry-specific symposium on November 10th at Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel. The event was a splendid success.


Since its establishment, HKSDA has always been committed to strengthening the business ethics within the direct selling industry, with the intention of safeguarding consumers’ interests, and ensuring a free and fair environment for healthy and constructive industry competitions. To further exchange knowledge and feedback, the Association invited numerous honorable guests from various sectors to share valuable insights and experience, and discuss the importance of business ethics for sustainable growth of the industry.




The topic of the symposium was “Ethics: the cornerstone of sustainable business growth”. Hosted by panelist Professor Andrew Chan, President of GBA Business School, guest speakers of the day included Ms. Gilly Wong, Chief Executive of the Consumer Council; Ms. Vivian Chan, Legal Advisor of HKDSA; Mrs. Agnes Koon, former Chairman of the Hong Kong Federation of Insurers; and Mrs. Angela Keung, President of HKDSA. Together, the speakers shared valuable insights from numerous perspectives, covering legal profession, consumers’ rights, insurance and direct selling ethics, which enabled further discussions and explorations in growing the company and social impact by developing business ethics.



Furthermore, Mr. Tseng Hing Yip, York, 4th Vice-Chairman of the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals; and Mr. Kenneth Wong, General Manager of MICE & Cruise and Regional Director (Europe) at the Hong Kong Tourism Board, gave inspiring speeches respectively, reiterating their support, recognition and appreciation toward the Association’s efforts in promoting professional ethics within the industry, and fulfilling social responsibilities.




Established in 1979, HKDSA is a trade association affiliated to the World Direct Selling Association. The Association is comprised of member companies that operate in the direct selling business model in Hong Kong. Through members’ continuous cooperation, the Association consistently bolsters and protects the direct selling industry for long-term development, by adhering the highest standard of business ethics.
